"Couldn't pair with my phone"

"This app works for me. I suspect the bad reviews are tech illiterate, but the app does have a terrible UI. Permissions are over requested, but it does need location for BT, storage for logs. For BP3GY1 users this may help: BT only turns on after a measurement or by holding "start" for 8s. Have the app open to your profile, when the BT icon flashes on the monitor, press the sync button in the app (circle arrows). To export data press the mail icon. It will share a CSV file, email it or save it."

"Getting the app to work took a bit of time and effort, although this could have easily been the device it hooks up to. This is not why the app needs work. The app is simplistic and feels like it was written in an afternoon by a contract coder. This is not why the app needs work. This app is no better than just writing down the numbers via a pen and paper, or even taking a picture of them. This is why the app needs work. Google Fit integration would do wonders for this app. Bluetooth to just get a log you can't even export to a text file is not a very useful feature."

"After the app developers refused to fix their app that fails to connect the BP unit and after reading the numerous complaints by other users regarding the same I am filing an official complaint with the FCC regarding this app. I guess they do not understand anything else. A copy will be forwarded to Costco as well."

"Failed to connect via Bluetooth...device replaced once already, and has now failed again and won't re-pair with pixel 4a phones. Junk hardware, and will try to get money back from Costco. Update 03/13/2022 bug in app, triggered by Android security update, program recognizes wrong device model number, won't connect to it. Cause has been known known for weeks. Still not fixed. Junk software from Taiwan. Don't waste money or time."
